Providence is calling a Restaurant Services Assistant II Cafeteria (Creekside Cafe, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE – 40 hours per week) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus (sign on bonus are not for current internals)

In This Position You Will
- Prepare, portion, and deliver foods according to production and customer needs, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Wash, Rinse and sanitize equipment and work areas as assigned following proper procedures.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and stay organized.
- Operate food service equipment safely and within OSHA guidelines.
- Provide high quality preparation and presentation for all hot and cold beverages, adheres to all restaurant services recipes and measures
- Operate cash register and correctly completes cash reconciliation forms according to cashiering guidelines
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members. Provides high quality customer service.
Qualifications
Required qualification for this position include:
- Muni Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications For This Position Include
- High school diploma or GED
- Specific vocational training – This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment
- 6 months of training or on the job training in quantity food preparation and basic principles of sanitation and safety in food handling
