Role and responsibilities:

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Create graphic designs for packaging, logos, brands and labeling.
• Gather and review incoming packaging and labeling orders.
• Design packages and labels using graphics and labeling software.
• Develop custom packaging designs from basic concepts.
• Create and print various media products, including photos.
• Coordinate, interact and correspond with customers and suppliers.
• Participate in marketing planning, analysis and execution.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders from the warehouse.
• Print the labels of the packages, carry out the monthly inventory.
• Clean and organize the warehouse and showroom.

Required skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to \”connect the dots\” and formulate a logical course of action to achieve goals. Able to work independently, assuming the responsibility of managing assigned tasks. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs. Practical knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Creative Cloud. Graphic arts experience. Able to multitask and work on multiple assignments simultaneously. Must be cannabis friendly – knowledge of the cannabis industry is an asset.

Physical requirements: ability to sit for long periods, stand and walk frequently, squat, stoop, hear and detect audible alarms and auditory/visual safety instructions, read information on the computer screen, typing on the computer keyboard, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Required Licenses and Certifications: Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. Diploma or certificate in Graphic Arts, related field or equivalent.

Equipment used: personal computer, Microsoft Office software, Adobe Creative Suite, label printers, graphics software, cameras, POS hardware and software.
