What will you do
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Serve customers professionally and politely while selling merchandise
- Make sure the store/kiosk is well maintained and stock is replenished
- All checkout tasks
- Provide basic sales techniques and promote exclusive “Fairmont” merchandise to the customers
- Participate in stock and month-end inventories
- Make sure the store or kiosk is always clean
- Represent the retail department during legacy events
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all security policies
- Other assigned roles
Your experience and skills include
- Previous experience in preferred retail
- Computer skills in Microsoft Windows applications and/or point of sale system required
- University/college degree in a related discipline an asset
- Must be income oriented
- Must have a professional presentation
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Highly responsible and trustworthy
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a manner cohesive as part of a team
