This is a opportunity for University of Glasgow current students enrolled in Politics, or a postgrad Politics degree. It is a fantastic opportunity to polish your leadership skills in a high-quality, academic, peer reviewed journal.
Previous Editors and board members of 3SJ have had the opportunity to test and grow their skills with 3SJ and are now working in as Intelligence Analysts, Project Managers and more in Security and GovTech.
We are looking for someone that wishes to start their career in academia, academic publications or politics related fields.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will ensure that the journal stays on course and that its actions are in keeping with the strategic pillars. The Editor in Chief
a) serves as the facilitator to ensure that agenda items and deliverables are clearly defined and understood by everyone on the team
b) coordinates the editing process, from the selection of papers to the final product of the journal. Together with the editors he/she will oversee a team of 14 reviewers and work with the Digital Team to publish the bi-yearly edition.
c) serves as the face and liaison to the University of Glasgow
