• Acquire new brands for distribution
• Attend exhibitions worldwide related to the category and industry niche
• Conduct regular market visits and gain customer insights
• Product insight and development
• Business plan presentation and approval
• Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy
• Plan for company’s financial success
• Determine key business development KPIs
• Work with sales and marketing teams
• Do a regular market research
• Attend various related programs and conferences
• Establish and maintain excellent relationship with clients
• Develop sales strategy and onboard new customers
• Negotiate and managing contract deals with customers
• Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors and other personnel
• Contribute to the reputation of the organization by entering and achieving professional awards.
• Support team members
• Manage and train the business development team

Key Requirements

• Good business sense and previous experience of at least 4-6 years within the juvenile or baby category
• Minimum 8-10 years experience within business development, sales and related industry
• A deep understanding of marketing principles
• Good communication and organizational skills
• A positive attitude
• Negotiation skills
• Plenty of initiative
• Proven UAE experience
