Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail banking households and threemillions of small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. A Cashier in Wells Fargo

  • Assists customers by providing exceptional customer service by accurately and efficiently processing their transactions.
  • Interacts with customers by actively listening and asking questions.
  • Introduce customers to other members of the Wells Fargo team, as appropriate, to proactively help them meet their financial needs.
  • Inform customers about self-digital options. service (aas applicable) to facilitate their banking.
  • Follows policies and procedures to minimize risk.
  • Maintains a cash drawer, including management and balancing of cash.
  • Spends most of the time completing customer counter operations.

Required qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in interacting with people, demonstrated through work, the military or education

  • Cash handling experience
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Work experience with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Ability to exercise judgment, ask management questions and adhere to policy guidelines
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures and regulations
  • Expertise with proactive research, acquisition, building and maintenance of relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Well organized, independent and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify potential fraudulent accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Relevant military experience including personnel benefit management work, military personnel order processing or transitions, readiness operationswartime, human resources or military recruiting
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with clients and members of the bre team
  • Ability to educate and connect clients to technology and share value of mobile banking options
