Responsibility

  • Perform data collection, interpretation and analysis for productivity benchmarking initiatives
  • Manage data collection module project tasks specific to members through a variety of standards and add-ons tool offerings
  • Supports the ODB tool by guiding member efforts to submit data in a timely and accurate manner as defined in the Department Reference Manual
  • Supports the ODB tool ensuring data quality by driving accountability on the data sent to the tool and communicating expectations effectively to participating members
  • Promote data quality initiatives by following and interpreting in Data Reference Manual (DRM) guidelines accurately and appropriately
  • Train member program coordinators on requirements for successful data collection Module tasks
  • Manager easy itate member calls, track project timelines, communicate effectively to avoid project delays and facilitate tool requirements for success
  • Working with da taset in various data tools such as Excel, SaS-EG, Access and Power Point
  • Incapable of running \”what if\” scenarios to support data-driven decision making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, health care, analytics, etc.
  • Experience with Vizient ODB (Action OI) data collection module highly recommended.
  • Previous experience with measuring and reporting work productivity in a healthcare setting
  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare finance, analyst decision support or data analytics focused healthcare consulting
  • Solid knowledge of healthcare terminology, billing and charge management practices and hospital operations is required
  • Analytical ability to collect, organize and interpret data, to identify discrepancies, issues or problems, to obtain advice when background is not clear or not available
  • Knowledge of principles such as workflow analysis, statistical analysis, work simplification, time and staffing standards analysis and process improvement techniques as to apply to proc them and the operations of the health management system
  • Communication and/or interpersonal skills for routine contact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (pivot t able, VLOOKUP, advanced logic (nesting of \”if\” statements, etc.). Access and Power Point

Estimated intake interval

$ 66,500.00 – $ 96,500.00
