What will you do…

If you are self-motivated, disciplined and resourceful, our in-house function might be perfect for you. As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be a problem solver, salesperson, troubleshooter, billing specialist and more – all while working remotely from the convenience of your home office, which should be located in the state of Arkansas .

  • Listening carefully to customers with patience and courtesy.
  • Solving customer issues and identifying solutions while leveraging your strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Educating customers and positioning Verizon solutions to drive and close sales.
  • Build customer relationships by earning their dedication and trust through unparalleled customer experiences.

You are positive and professional, with a focus onsolving problems and doing what it takes to make a difference with every customer every time. You can build relationships with all kinds of people, listen carefully, and refine the most important issues. You explain things easily so that people can understand. You understand technology and know how to use that knowledge to find solutions.

You will need to have

  • Meet all home office requirements listed below.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Your home office must be located in the state of Arkansas.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Proven communication and customer service skills.

Home office requirements

  • This is a work-at-home role, with occasional face-to-face meetings and training.
  • Your home office must be located in the state of Arkansas.
  • Internet service with direct connection to a cable or fiber modem capable of at least 25 Mbps (according to your service plan; a cash stipend may be provided to you). Wireless or DSL connections are not acceptable.
  • A private, quiet, dedicated workspace.
  • Verizon conducts periodic webcam home audits to ensure your workspace meets your requirements.
  • The ability to self-manage in a remote work environment, including ergonomic chair configuration provided byenterprise, desktop and computer equipment, and ongoing proactive, skilled and effective management of your home network and connections.
  • Demonstrated self-discipline, time management skills, resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively with leaders and in a team – all in a remote work environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Associate degree.
  • Experience in customer problem solving, billing and/or handling product usage issues.
  • Experience solving customer problems in a home-based work environment.
  • Experience in promoting and/or selling products and services.
  • Proficiency with technology, applying it to solve problems.
  • Demonstrated self-discipline, time management skills, resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively with leaders and in a team – all in a remote work environment.
