What will you do …

If you are motivated, disciplined and resourceful, our role at home might be perfect for you. As a customer service representative, you will be a problem solver, salesperson, problem solver, billing expert and more, all while working remotely from the comfort of your home office, which must be in the state of Arkansas .

  • Listen carefully to customers with patience and courtesy.
  • Solve customer problems and identify solutions while leveraging your strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Educate customers and position Verizon solutions to increase and close sales.
  • Build customer relationships by earning their dedication and trust through unmatched customer experiences.

You are positive and professional, focused on solving problems and doing whatever it takes to make a difference with every customerwhenever. You can establish a relationship with all kinds of people, listen carefully and focus on the most important issues. Explain things easily, in ways people can understand. You are tech savvy and know how to use that knowledge to find solutions.

You must have

  • Meet all Ministry of Interior requirements listed below.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Your home office must be in the state of Arkansas.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and days holidays.
  • Demonstrated communication and customer service skills.

Requirements of the Ministry of the Interior

  • This is a work from home with occasional in-person meetings and training.
  • Your home office must be in the state of Arkansas.
  • Internet service with a direct connection to a cable or fiber modem capable of at least 25 Mbps (depending on your service plan; you may be given a salary). Wireless or DSL connections are not acceptable.
  • A private, quiet workspace.
  • Verizon performs periodic home checks via webcam to ensure your workspace meets the requirements.
  • The ability to self-manage in a remote work environment, including the installation of an ergonomic chair, desk and IT equipment provided by the company and continuous, proactive, competent and effective management of the home network and connections .
  • Demonstration of self-discipline, time management skills, resourcefulnessand the ability to work collaboratively with leaders and in teams, all in a remote work environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • An Associate’s degree.
  • Experience in solving customer problems, billing and/or handling questions about the use of the product.
  • Experience in solving customer problems in a home work environment.
  • Experience in promoting and/or selling products and services.
  • Competence with applied technology to solve problems.
  • Demonstrated self-discipline, time management skills, resourcefulness and the ability to work collaboratively with leaders and in teams, all in a remote work environment.
