UPS is hiring people to work as temporary and seasonal driver aides . This is a physical, fast, outdoor position that involves continually lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 – 35 pounds. and can weigh up to 70 lbs. Requires excellent customer contact skills and a lot of walking.

As a driver assistant you will not drive the delivery vehicle but assist the driver in delivering packages .

Driver aides usually meet the UPS driver at a mutually agreed time and place every day of the week. The working days may vary (Monday – Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday), both part-time and full-time, depending on the building needs. Hours vary but usually start after 8am and end before 8pm. Driver aides must adhere to UPS appearance guidelines.

Driver Helper’s seasonal opportunities are typically between the Thanksgiving period and the holiday season .
