We are looking for an outgoing person to join our team as a travel agent! As a travel agent, you are responsible for booking exceptional travel for corporate and leisure clients in various destinations around the world. This opportunity is ideal for anyone who likes to travel and help others plan these amazing packages. Travel agents handle the entire research and booking process for clients, including but not limited to airline, hotel accommodation, car rental, and ticket/event sales. Roles and responsibilities

• Research, prepare and execute exceptional itineraries for clients
• Review people’s needs and wants to travel, to ensure that you can cater for a trip specially designed to meet their needs
• Complete ongoing training to obtain and maintain travel booking certification
• Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to specialize with specific destinations
• Provide suggested quotes for clients
• Review quotes and plan trips according to constraints client budgets
• Create promotional materials to use
• Stay up-to-date on changes within the tourism industry
• Monitor restrictions ontrips back and forth
• Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodation, cruises, ticket/event sales, etc…)
• Communicate effectively with customers before and after the trip
• Respond quickly to all travel inquiries
• Effect Actively manage your time by researching travel and communicating with customers.
• Manage problems that may arise during customer reservations and/or trips
• Keep information updated within our software
• Establish contacts with tour operators with regarding the packages you can offer to clients
• Participate in FAM trips when possible

Requirements

• You must have at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers (strong sales experience is an advantage)
• Must have a smartphone with internet access, laptop recommended, but not required
• Personal travel experience is a great bonus, but not required
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is also a bonus, but not required
