Responsibilities of the customer service representative

• Help customers inside and outside the U-Haul Center with U-Haul products and services
• Use phone-based U-Scan technology Smart Rentals and Inventory Management
• Move and Connect U-Haul Trucks and Trailers
• Clean and Inspect Equipment on Lot, Including Checking Fluid Levels
• Answer questions and educate customers about the productsand services
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental

Minimum qualifications of the customer service representative

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work environment
for The work involves moderate hazards or annoyances that require special safety precautions, for example, working near moving parts or machines, irritating fumes or chemicals. The use of protective clothing or equipment such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be necessary. forfor PHYSICAL DEMANDS – This job requires some physical effort, such as connecting trailers to customer vehicles, lifting/hauling propane tanks and moving supplies, getting on and reaching U-Haul trucks, and long periods of resting and walking while helping customers at the counter and in the showroom. forforAMERCO and its family of companies, including U-Haul, have strived to create a culture of health and wellness.
