Job details

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality and yield while ensuring the safest possible working environment. This position requires essential understanding and control of the manufacturing process, thorough record keeping, and general line maintenance and personnel. Specific responsibilities include checking daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring each position is filled before the production line starts, supervising team members’ morning drills and job rotation at the in order to facilitate ergonomics and ensure that all machinery operates at the highest possible standard. Other responsibilities include ensuring that all workstations have passed the USDA inspection, promoting safety on a daily basis and through monthly safety meetingsand ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation and correct product coding. Additionally, this position is responsible for knowing and communicating business benefits and compensation policies to team members, providing encouragement to team members in order to build the best possible team, and the critical ability to perform human relationship functions such as training, maintenance and advice on personal and professional problems. Other duties include overseeing various processing operations and working with other supervisors for troubleshooting, registering reworked or returned products, continuing education on the importance of quality, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

Requirements

Background check is required.

Education: High school diploma; education beyond high school including

special training courses, vocational school and/or university are preferred.

Computer skills: useful basic computer skills.

Communication skills: strong communication skills.

Supervisor: This position is responsible for supervising a group of companies
Personnel performing somewhat identical and related tasks or

activities.

Trips: 1-5 trips per year.
