Summary
Transportation security officers are responsible for providing safety and security to travelers in all sectors of transportation in a courteous and professional manner. Their functions can also extend to protecting high profile events, important figures and/or anything that includes or impacts our transportation systems. Requirements
Conditions of employment
- Must be a US citizen or national and be at least 18 years of age
- Pass a drug test, medical evaluation, and history investigation
- Subject to employment random drug and/or alcohol testing
- Must be registered for Selective Service (Men born after 12/31/59)
- Must be available to work multiple shifts and overtime , as needed
- Mandatory training travel and occasional travel may be required
