About the work

Overview

Dishwashers are responsible for the pit and must ensure that it is kept clean, organized and in compliance with workplace safety standards. They wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, dishes, silverware and other service items, as well as mop floors and empty trash. Some light food preparation work may also be requested.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain the pit to ensure the highest level of safety and sanitation
• Work as a team in a fast-paced environment

Main qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work under the direction of Chefs
• Ability to stand up and exercise mobility well controlled during a scheduled shift
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lean and bend
• Ability to work in high temperature conditions (up to 100 degrees) for long periods of time
• Manual coordination and dexterity for fast production
