for Open Food Network USA is a nonprofit organization and part of a global community of organizations working to keep food accessible, to support fair and ethical local economies, and to unite with communities that they rebuild their connection to the earth and to each other through respect, generosity, and gratitude. forforPublic Relations – Social Media Marketing
forWe would love to have a framework for our social media presence! At this time, our posts on Facebook and Instagram are infrequent and uncoordinated. A calendar that allows us to manage our publications and our presence would really help us and, with the right tools and guidelines, it would level up, reach more people who need to knowand it would help us connect with donors. Help us join the 21st century! We need to level up our social media presence and execute the best practices you share with us. Right now we’re pretty bad at keeping our social media streams up-to-date and engaging, and we’re missing the analytics and connections that would help us accomplish our mission. We are very excited to learn how to improve on this in a sustainable way! We have Facebook, Instagram, and Mailchimp accounts, and our global affiliate has LinkedIn and Twitter, but we don’t coordinate how we use these different tools and we don’t have a strategy on how they can connect with the right people. We have regular volunteers who help out, but with a well-defined strategy, we are much more likely to have someone willing to volunteer time for this work, and failing that, our staff are eagerly ready to improve our game. forforThis project can be done remotely. ”
