Survey Crew Chief – Tavares, FL

Halff Associates, Inc. has a current opening for a Survey Crew Chief in our Tavares, Florida location.

The successful candidate will lead a two-person field crew to perform field surveys accurately and efficiently in support of land development, boundary, design, route, topographic, utility, ALTA surveys and general land surveying projects using robotic instruments, GPS, and/or terrestrial laser scanning methodology.

Halff will pay a hiring bonus for the right candidate.

Survey Crew Chief Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief performing land development, boundary, design, topographic, and ALTA surveys
• Experience with Trimble Access, GPS and Robotic and Conventional equipment preferred
• Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy and precision
• Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be dependable and responsible regarding punctuality and attendance.
• Must be able to start work at 7:00 AM EST, Monday through Friday.
• Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines.
• Must be available for overnight travel which may be up to one week at a time.
