  • Cleaning & maintenance & check on display arrangements.
  • Assist customers with sales and any special order.
  • Be aware of safety hazards and report to proper channels.
  • Attend to special guest requests and record all guest’s preferences.
  • Assist with the training of new staff.
  • Participate fully in all departmental training sessions and regular standards testing so as to master all tasks and skills related to the Standard Operating Procedures for your position. Fill in any gaps in your skills and knowledge. Act as a buddy for new employees within your department.
  • Perform gift-wrapping, packing & shipping upon guest request.
  • Demonstrate effective product knowledge and selling skills and be able to answer guest’s questions and offer expert advice.
  • Price labelling of new items.
  • Utilize the computerized Point of Sales System (Spa Soft) for retail transactions.
  • Ensure stock is well merchandised and all sales are replenished on the shelf immediately.
  • All retail spaces, displays and testers should be immaculately clean. Fabrics must be pressed.
  • Spa atmosphere must be maintained with proper music, lighting, temperature and aroma.
  • Keep a daily record of all sales, new receiving, transferred and damaged items.
  • Full ownership of month end retail inventory count and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Carry out any other necessary tasks requested by Manager.
  • Follow-up on room deliveries (log book).
  • Maintenance of Boutique with Engineering Department.
  • Be aware and use guest’s names, be present for all guests’ arrival and departure and ensure retail and relaxation area is covered at all times. Breaks must be coordinated with colleagues to ensure proper coverage.
  • Boutique Store to be always tidy and good stocking of items on shelving.
  • Report any damage or loss of the product to Spa Management, be aware of shoplifting.
  • Takes full responsibility for the daily opening and closing of the SPA Boutique.

Special Requirements

  • Has 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in 5 star hotels or resorts
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Flexible with schedule and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including overtime and adjust shift and/or off days according to operational requirements.
  • Comfortable to operate computer programs
  • Able to carry trays of glasses and dishes and provide F&B service with proper etiquette
  • Possesses finesse, personal flair and interpersonal skills; knowledge in a relevant foreign language is preferred
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Adheres to company grooming standards.
  • Ability to drive a buggy would be an advantage
