for The Barista I provides exceptional customer service while crafting quality handcrafted beverages. The barista will take orders and prepare coffee, tea and other beverages according to the customer’s specifications. The individual will also operate cash registers and credit card machines. The barista responds to customer complaints or questions while working to maintain good customer relationships and prompt delivery of all beverages. These responsibilities may differ between accounts, based on business needs and customer requirements. forfor General responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, fruit mix drinks, etc. customer specifications.
• Works to maintain good customer relationships and prompt delivery of all food and beverages.
• Organize coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to create attractive displays.
• Keeps the bar/cart area neat and hygienic.
• Often cleans coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms, and prep areas.
• Records all sales, collects money, operates a cash register, and follows all cash handling procedures as necessary.
• You can sell food.
• You can operate a cash/credit card/electronic payment record.
• Attend all in-service training on allergies and foodborne illness.
• Comply with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
• Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
• Comply with all company security and risk management policies and procedures.
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
• Attend training programs (face-to-face and virtual) as designated.
