Overview

Yachting Partners International, one of the world’s most trusted companies in yachting, is excited to share a new opening for Senior Software Engineer to support their Monaco team. This attractive position will be filled by a self-motivated candidate that already has experience as a software engineer. YPI maintains and continues to develop a variety of systems & digital infrastructure, including backend services, website, internal web applications and a CRM. Together these components make our cohesive internal Platform. We are looking for a candidate who can further develop, test, and maintain the Platform.The position is full-time and based in YPI’s Monaco office.

Responsibilities

· Design clean software components, services, and applications

· Document all software and integrations

· Discuss future implementation with internal stakeholders

· Lead the delivery of projects from development to production

· Write software integrations across ZohoCRM, Microsoft Graph and other industry platforms

· Manage marketing website

· Manage component library for use across the Platform

Core Languages and Platform Skills:

· MySQL, Postgres, SQLite

· Node.js

· Frontend: HTML, CSS, Javascript

· PHP 7 & 8+

· Laravel 9+

· Symfony 6+

· Slim Framework

· Doctrine Migrations

· REST

· Microsoft Graph API

· ZohoCRM

· CraftCMS

· GO

Candidate Profile

· At least 2 years’ experience developing production grade applications and services.

· Fluent understanding of PHP 7/8+

· Fluent understanding of Javascript

· Knowledge of Web Accessibility

· Strong grasp of SQL, we Postgres, MySQL and SQLite databases

· Experience using at least 1 cloud provider (e.g. Azure, DigitalOcean, GCP)

· A strong understanding of programming fundamentals such as OOP and FP

· Good knowledge of the fundamentals of REST API design

· Good problem-solving and analytical abilities

· Familiarity or fluency with Linux environments

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Previous experience with Docker would be beneficial

· Ability to learn new technologies
