Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior JavaScript Developer to join our global team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery/design phases
  • Build and ship the web application e2e
  • Build the dev team in the mid-term run to deliver, meet and eventually exceed IKEA’s expectations
  • Introduce and maintain best engineering and management practices
  • Influence and contribute to definition of tech solution direction

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as JavaScript Developer
  • 3+ years of experience as a developer
  • at least one expert or several advanced levels of skills related to JS
  • experience with building serverless on Azure
  • Able to conduct technical interviews
  • Experience in designing system components or whole solutions
  • Able to explain pros and cons of proposed solutions
  • Knows architecture styles (e.g. SOA, event-driven architecture, microservices), software architecture and system architecture
  • Pro-active dev team management (scoping, SDLC process practices, scaling the team etc)

Nice to have

  • Experience in Azure cloud computing
  • Experience in implementing automated testing platforms
