Position Summary… As a cake decorator, you will guide service to members in your area to give our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other members to ensure the total club meets the members’ expectations. What are you going to do…

• Become a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other members about tools, tasks, and resources; communicates and develops interpersonal skills to provide customer service; be flexible to business needs; maintenance of stock levels; and controlling shrinkage.
• Be an expert: plan the bakery’s productions; ensuring consistency in the quality and precision of the bakery’s decorative designs; follow the recipe measurement instructions; work with a variety of products (eg, decor bags, tips, nozzles) to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items; ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management; operation, maintenance and sanitation of equipment; and demonstrate product understanding and layout execution.
• Be a Technician: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase member engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the bakery area; assurance of quality and date control standards; eliminating waste; preparing for seasonal events that affect bakery volume (eg, holidays, graduations, family events); identify member needs; assist members in purchasing decisions; and solving members’ problems and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate, valuing the member’s bakery experience and shaping high quality products and services; interact with members to understand obstacles and assist with training; developing, influencing and inspiring them to work in a style that is respectful, supportive and team-oriented.
• Complies with the company’s ethics and integrity policies, procedures and standards, implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and apply them in the execution of business processes and practices.
• Complete assignments and work priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; performing tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to approach opportunities for improvement; and adapting and learning from changes, difficulties and feedback.
