We are seeking to recruit: An experienced and very dynamic employee, in the position of Reporting and Development Senior Specialist.
Job purpose: Analyze in detail bank needs for automation of processes/business activities, propose acquiring or design, develop and maintain (when possible in house) applications and reports in accordance with written business specifications.
Direct Reports to: Reporting and Development Department Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Support business units for preparation, collection and documentation of detailed specificationsequirements with regard to development or acquiring of new solutions / applications and for new reports/changes of the existing ones ;
- Analyze in detail the written business requirements for new applications or modification of the existing ones and design relevant solutions that should be compatible with the existing software and hardware systems of the Bank, including all the program/project lifecycle deployment and schedules;
- Development (when possible in house) and delivery of the solutions/applications and reports including enhancements/correction of existing ones, and their further maintenance and improvements, as well as preparation and maintenance of relevant technical documentation in cooperation with other IT units;
- Assist when required in the preparation of the respective proposals for in-house development projects;
- Preparation, documentation and conducting of the unit test testing, and support for UAT planning and execution in cooperation with business representatives and other IT units;
- Implement necessary changes in the Reporting system/ DBs in order to accommodate the business needs for new developments;
- Participation in the maintenance of Reporting system/db in order to facilitate accurate and in-time reporting required by other units of the bank;
- Cooperation and coordination with other structures of the IT Division;
- Any other duty and/or responsibility assigned by the head of the department.
Criteria to be fulfilled
- University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields
- At least one year of working experience in programming languages, tools, and IT positions.
- Good knowledge about banking system operations.
- Good knowledge about RDBMS (MSSQL/ORACLE).
- Working experience with Windows Operating Systems and networks, MS Office software packages, and programming languages.
- To have operational logic, be practical and careful.
- Very good English (written/oral).
