A US-based company leveraging the power of data science and unorthodox fabrics to design and customize tailor-made clothing is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the design, engineering, and development teams to build intuitive UIs. The company’s proprietary smartphone platform makes it easier for users to customize their clothes based on unique body shapes and sizes. The company has managed to successfully raise $450K+ during their Pre-Seed round of funding. This role requires a significant overlap with the PST/EST time zones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and advocate rapid iteration and Agile approaches to software development
- Maintaining high performance and compatibility across platforms
- Be a full-fledged contributor and help cross-functional teams
- Build self-contained, reusable, and testable code
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or backend engineer
- Experience in Python and PostgreSQL is a must
- Experience with integrating with third-party APIs is required
- Must have an experience in Python, SQL DB, React, JavaScript, and CSS
- Expertise with DevOps is a must
- Familiarity with ML and Shopify API is nice to have
- Great communication skills
