The company recruiting for this Process Engineer vacancy is one of the world’s leading manufacturers, being the largest global producer of the specialist product manufactured across their sites. Working with leading professionals within the sector, this Process Engineer will be supporting across the operations and CAPEX programmes. Brand new, clean manufacturing facility, lots of new equipment they have spent £20 million on over the last 2 years.
Alongside the highly competitive salary, this permanent Process Engineer will receive Pension (6% employee contribution, 9% employer), Private medical options with some subsidisation, death in service, up to 20% annual bonus, and annual salary reviews. Hours are 9am – 5pm.
Accountabilities Of The Process Engineer
- Resolve day-to-day technical issues involved in operating the plant and communicate these solutions to others for execution.
- Write and/or review operating procedures and provide appropriate training.
- Facilitate and own key production and quality technical issues, identifying and owning solutions and improvement opportunities.
- Determine optimum operating conditions for the plant to achieve a safe operation, which meets the production plan and produces a quality product at minimum cost.
- Designing and testing upgrades and new systems.
- Performing simulations and troubleshooting issues.
- Lead projects for optimisation or modification to existing plant alongside the NPD Project Management team.
The client is looking for a degree qualified Process Engineer with around 4 years’ experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing improvement strategies such as OEE, Six Sigma, Lean etc. would be highly beneficial when applying for this Process Engineer position.
