Work Summary
The Business Operations Associate will be a key contributor to the business operations department, supporting all areas of internal reporting and analysis, documentation control processes, and systems usage while acquiring knowledge of and participates in all areas of the business operations functions to include, but not be limited to: proposals, change order, contracts, reporting, and communications.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
- Assist with reporting functions required from business operations to company finance (cascade, projections, sales targets, etc.).
- Act as the department controller for all documentation uploaded for financial reporting and proper file maintenance.
- Support efforts within business operations to increase communications within the department and acrossthe entire company.
- Support efforts in business operations to increase workload management tracking and reporting.
- Function as a Sales Force \”super user\” in support of business operations – to provide reporting, information, tracking, maintenance.
- Participate in departmental processes for the development of proposals, change orders, contracts and RFIs in order to acquire the knowledge necessary to eventually become a contributor to these types of deliverables.
- Provide support in developing and maintaining business operations libraries to include but not limited to: proposal text library, RFI library, example library.
- Support the development and tracking of departmental metrics and KPIs.
- Other functions as needed.
Education/qualifications required
- Bachelors or minimum 1 year experience in the professional field, preferably 1 year in a CRO environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to quickly change priorities
- Detail-oriented, with high focus on quality
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
Experience
- Bachelor degree or minimum experience of 1 year in the professional area, preferably 1 year in CRO environment
