About the work
Serves customers at the Resort’s points of sale. The position is not exempt. This position is located in Girdwood, Alaska.
Main Functions
- Assist customers in locating goods
- Have a working knowledge of point of sale products and stock
- Operate the system point of sale, making trades , reconciling cash/credit at shift close
- Product replenishment, pricing and merchandise
- Keeping a store clean
- Stock and shipping
- Other assigned roles

Skills/requirements
To carry out this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The successful candidate must have experience in POS and money handling, along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagrammatic form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The following are additional essentials of the position: Work on weekends and holidays with flexible hours. Any employee over the age of 21 must have a valid TAPS card.
