Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members and guests by providing exceptional customer service.

Manage all reception related activities, including

Answer phones in a friendly way and help callers with a series of questions.

Check the members in the system.

Registration of a new member.

Take potential members on tour.

Facilitates necessary updates to member accounts.

Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and appoint Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.

Helps keep the club clean and tidy.

Qualifications/Requirements

Preferred customer service background.

Basic computer skills.

A passion for fitness and health.

Optimistic and positive attitude!

Punctuality and reliability are a must.

Outstanding customer service capabilities; able to interact positively and professionally with members and collaborators, exceeding the member’s expectations.

Strong listener with the ability to empathize and solve problems.

Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions by using appropriate behavior and language.

High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical needs

Continue standing and walking habitually during the shift.

Continuous conversation in person or on the phone during the shift.

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Occasionally encounter toxic chemicals on shift.

Advantages

Starting at $ 13.50 – $ 15.50 DOE

Full-time option after 90 days and more than 30 hours for
benefits
