An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Savings Performance Solutions team within the Savings Performance area, within the Retail Bank Division. The teams’ purpose is to create a centre of excellence for Data, Analytics and Machine Learning within the Savings business. In conjunction with a range of partners from across the Group. The Savings Performance Solutions team are responsible for the Savings Analytics Squad, Savings Machine learning initiatives and data automation and alerting allowing us to optimise our commercial performance, minimise risks and enable LBG to Help Britain Recover.
In the Savings business we create and lead customer focused savings products for several our iconic brands including Halifax, Lloyds and Bank of Scotland. More specifically, the Savings Performance area hold accountability for pricing strategy tools, forecasting capability projects and both customer and market insight.
What you’ll be involved in?
- Supporting initiatives across the Retail division and driving a step change in the pricing, forecasting and analytics capabilities of the Savings business and beyond.
- Joining the team at an exciting time as we continue to embed the Savings Machine Learning project into the business.
- Supporting successful Savings rate change implementation, including SRP offers, Savings Switcher campaigns and any rate or system changes to resolve customer issues.
- Supporting the maintenance of the Savings Tableau server and Savings insight landscape..
- Support the Savings data infrastructure development.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Ability to successfully support data and analytics projects
- Knowing how to effectively engage with various partners from Savings, Retail and across the Group
- Ideally, previous experience of working in a commercially focussed and analytical role. Understand the importance of using data to provide meaningful insight that will inform infrastructure and analytics priorities and business decisions
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in translating business asks into data requirements for insight building and reporting
- Some coding/scripting experience (e.g. SQL, Teradata, SAS) developed in a commercial/industry setting
- Story telling ability to gather relevant data and combine them together to tell a meaningful story
- Ability to efficiently communicate data related technical concepts to your peers and partners (with or without technical background) and translating these into business insights
Desirable but not essential
- Previous experience with a visualization tool (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
