What you will do
As an AP & Treasury Accountant you will be part of an elite team of highly talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, all working together to manage and control the expenses of Noon, you will be solving problems that have the potential to change the lives of millions of students and teachers across the globe. We believe in a culture of experimenting, failing, and learning while discovering interesting ways to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to expand education
Responsibilities
- Process all invoices and suppliers’ statement of accounts.
- Record and process payments of goods and services
- Maintain a filing system for accounts payable records
- Assist to post journal for month-end closing
- Monitor, manage and resolve supplier queries/complaints, escalate where necessary to Manager in accordance to agreed SLAs
- Perform ad hoc operational duties & responsibilities as and when required
About you
As we are expanding our new shared services team here in Cairo, we’re looking for AP experts who are proactive problem solvers who would relish the opportunity to solve problems, handle Noon stakeholders. If you’re the type of person who loves working up and down with numbers, handling seven different legal entities in seven countries at the same time this could be your perfect role.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / equivalent in Accounting, Commerce, Business or Finance
- 6 months – 2 years’ experience in accounts Payable or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in Finance
- Fluent in English writing, speaking is a must
- Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Able to meet short deadlines
- Able to deliver quality work under pressure
