The Customer Service Representative I position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service for MFA Oil customers. Additionally, this position is responsible for the day-to-day tasks of the operation, including recording sales, receiving payments, conducting and entering inventory, and making bank deposits. forforMFA Petroleum Company is an equal opportunity, drug-free employer. for
- In a timely and accurate manner, complete daily sales and deposit reports
- Make sure daily sales and receipts are accurately listed on monthly stock sheets
- Make sure customer payments are completed accurately and applied to the correct account
- Make sure petty cash refunds are completed accurately and supporting documentation is attached adequate
- Assist manager in obtaining all tax exemption forms (FE7, MO1, etc.)
- Make sure they are complete and keep a file on all forms
- Answer phones, greet customers, and respond to routine requests with courtesy
- Be sure all \”no gas\” calls are notified of \”no gas\” procedures. MFA Oil
- Process daily correspondence from customers and the head office the way or portuna
- Make sure new customer documentation is completed, including required security forms and documentation, credit application, borrowed equipment agreements, leasess from propane tanks.
- Keep filing systems up to date
- Assist with sales and accounts receivable collection as directed by manager
- Get Propane Certified and Fill propane tanks as required by location
- Maintain a good working relationship with all employees
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Know and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Follow posted work hours and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked
- Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, suppliers and customers
- Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any matter requiring attention
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the Es United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Some travel required for training
- Ability to exchange accurate information verbally and in writing with MFA clients Oil in English
- Ability to meet company requirements, including pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to perform calculations mathematicians in order tomake changes, complete reports and account for products
- Ability to visually observe and inspect items and the work environment for regular job responsibilities and safety concerns
- Physical ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or sitting) up to nine hours per shift
- Physical ability to move and position to move and retrieve products and supplies from under-counter shelves or inventory stacks weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work with hazardous materials
- 1-3 years of customer service or other applicable work experience
- Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of time management
- Ability to perform detail work with precision
- Ability to understand new concepts quickly
- Ability to work both independently and ina team environment
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to set priorities and goals and develop plans to achieve them
