Together, we can help people build stronger communities, we are just getting started. forforThe Facebook Reality Lab media team is looking for a content curator and developer to source, curate, and schedule immersive videos for new AR/VR products. The role involves organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling content to increase media engagement on AR/VR surfaces, and it requires strong organizational skills as well as a creative mindset. forfor Responsibilities

  • Perform key selection and scheduling functions for immersive media of various formats
  • Obtain and catalog assets and suggest categories and topics that are clear and attractive to target consumers
  • Make sure content meets quality standards for distribution according to provided guidelines
  • Create and manage programspublishing to distribution points
  • Use knowledge of pop culture events to inform curation and programming strategy
  • Use data and knowledge to inform curation and strategy Schedule
  • Support scheduling changes in real time to update content and ensure priority content discovery
  • Classification systems or communication issues that arise and resolve issues with other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including business development for questions about content rights, marketing and communications for calendar moments and product teams to improve tools

Minimum rating

  • 3 years of experience in content production, editorial or operations
  • Experience working with video and content management systems and problem solving
  • Experience in documenting processes, workflows and programs
  • Experience independent process management and take projects to completion

Preferred qualification

  • Experience in programming for new or emerging platforms
  • Experience working in immersive media
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Understanding current trends in pop culture, sports, games and entertainment
