A maintenance Craftsperson with a strong Mechanical background is required on a permanent basis to work on an Upper Tier COMAH site in Middlesbrough. This is a Monday – Friday days based role.
You will be responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage your own workload including logging jobs, raising defects and closing work orders. You will proactively respond to site breakdowns and make competent decisions and effective solutions in line with the safe systems to work. You will be responsible for carrying out Pump repairs so any previous experience in this area would be useful.
About You
- Time Served Mechanical Fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification
- Industrial experience in mechanical equipment and systems
- Good IT skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and written.
- Hands on experience in Pump Repairs and Maintenance would be highly advantageous
- Any previous experience on a Top Tier COMAH site or working in an Industrial or Process Industry Environment
- CompEx Mechanical (EX11) would be advantageous although the client is willing to put the successful applicant through this.
