Responsibilities
- \”Smile and say hi!\” Greets all customers and associates, assists in a friendly and courteous manner, and adheres to the \”Yes, we can\” policy by efficiently resolving customer inquiries and requests
- Consistently uses the 5-step GREAT program when interacting with customers: Greets and Engages the customer, requests credit, explains the economy, asks to respond to the survey and thanks the customer
- Able to learn and adapt to current technology to meet customer needs
- Offers the highest level of customer service through effective problem resolution
- Request, open and activate Kohl billing applications and loyalty programs
- Ensures all cash handling procedures are carried out in accordance with thepolicy and procedure
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers
- Flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed
Required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds every now and then
- Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving around in departments. Physical activities include frequent bending, bending, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or stretching
- Adherence to Kohl’s policies and procedures
- Regular attendance
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and reading skills, legible writing and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with other people
Preferred
- Previous retail experience
- Comfortable using technology consistently while performing necessary tasks
