Description

We are currently recruiting a rehabilitation technician. You will work in a team where you will provide quality and compassionate care in a safe environment. Provides patient care support under the direction of a licensed therapist. Help patients with mental and/or physical disabilities to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce and improve their performance.

Responsibilities

• Follows tasks related to patient care, as determined by the OTR/RPT, to help the patient achieve optimal goals.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to members of the rehabilitation team.
• Visual knowledge to perceive the patient’s reactions to the treatment and to read the instructions.
• Capable of lifting and transporting equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehabilitation setting.
• CPR certification (when necessary).
• Wishing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation.
