Work Summary

Under close supervision, this position will support external/internal clients and clients by routing phone calls, answering questions, solving basic problems and providing first class customer service.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone and email customer service calls and inquiries; provide first-level response, troubleshoot and redirect phone calls when appropriate
  • Additional projects/tasks as needed
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities with a focus on improving business skills and abilities to grow within the industry
  • Research and report customer complaints, help resolve customer complaints and ensure issues can be resolved in a timely manner
  • Identify employee issues , customers or clients and determine what is the appropriate course of action for an effective resolution
  • Receive and respond to correspondenceroutinely following established procedures that do not require management review
  • Understand and implement administrative systems, procedures, policies and practices
  • Communicate with people inside and outside the organization (responding asking questions, addressing concerns, solving basic problems, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the team and internal business partners to solve basic challenges and develop useful knowledge, becoming fluent in the language of logistics and transportation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent GED with 1 year of customer service related experience. Preferred Qualification: University degree in progress and/or 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or helpdesk environment

Ability to work individually and in a team

Basic Deductive Reasoning Skills

Experience in the transport industry

Work experience in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of J.B. Hunt

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications

Ways of telecommunication, patience, customer service.

Education

Associates: Administration/Business Management, GED (Required), High School (Required)
