The candidate should have previous experience in IT Support and the main responsibility will be to maintain and support the core IT infrastructure and ensure that all users and employees work optimally to follow the company’s IT policies and procedures. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support services to the Group’s users and shops in Nicosia
- Manage the Group’s core business applications such as ERP, POS and Sales mobile platforms
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and document all technical issues on printers, portable devices and desktops
- Implementation and monitoring of security of all systems and networks
- Ensure all backup strategies are performed
- Monitor of all installed systems and network infrastructure
- Ensure the maintenance and optimization of the server and network environments
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Building & supporting Windows desktops (Windows 7 / 10)
- Hardware & generic software troubleshooting
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Office and the related desktop applications
- Microsoft Windows Server
- Virtualization technologies (preferably VMware ESXi)
- Networking fundamentals
- Ability to translate technical language to a non-technical audience
- Analytical and methodical approach to information gathering and fault diagnosis
- Elementary accounting knowledge could be considered an advantage
- Industry recognized certifications, such as Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, etc. could be beneficial
