Guild is hiring Training Instructors to connect with prospective students to explain the educational benefits and support them in their goals when they return to school. We are looking for dynamic individuals who have a passion for guiding students as they explore classes, programs and degrees in order to make informed decisions about the next step in their educational journey. Education Coaches are guild ambassadors and trusted partners who believe in the power of education as they work with students to make transformative life decisions to use the benefits of their education and advance their career opportunities.

As a training coach, you will do it

  • Call, email and text potential students right after creating a Guild account to help them get back to school through their employer’s educational benefit
  • Engage new learners leads every day by responding to incoming connections and creatively acquiring leads from ourexisting database
  • Nurture relationships by learning about prospective students’ work and educational experience, as well as their goals so you can more effectively help them understand their benefits and educational pathways ( be it online lectures, programs or accredited college degrees)
  • Owning the results of these initial conversations as a key to the student journey and a critical component to the long-term success of the Guild
  • Push to connect with every single possible student from our employer partners – be enthusiastic about achieving or exceeding ambitious goals
  • Develop and improve your advisory conversation approaches through feedback and call coaching , training and collaboration programs with team members and your manager
  • Supports students throughout the entire application and enrollment process to ensure and a smooth, productive and positive experience with Guild
  • Make sure prospective students have a clear understanding of the skills, technology and time commitment required to be a successful student and working adult
  • Accurately manage your pipeline and student data in Salesforce

You are a strong person if

  • You have a data-driven mindset and the ability to use insights from qualitative conversations and quantitative metrics to build stronger relationshipssolid and achieve better results
  • You have experience in admissions, enrollments, consulting sales or recruiting roles and a desire to apply those skills to help working adults pursue education
  • Welcome your manager’s feedback in hopes of improving the role and growing in your career
  • Believe in our mission: this role is paid based on base salary, not incentive bonuses
  • You have great attention to detail, making sure your data is entered and accurate
  • You have experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Regular and predictable participation is required

We are enthusiastic about equal pay for the same job and transparency in pay is one of the means to achieve this. Total pay for this role is competitive in the market, including a base salary range of $ 50,000-51,500, as well as corporate stock options.
