Job Description
– Identify and conduct groundwork on Regulatory and Business environment to meet the company’s objectives and actively build relationships with external stakeholders
– Support Director, Government, and Stakeholder Relations in drafting communication materials in order to establish company’s position on different issues that impact the digital business environment of Banglalink
– Acquire permissions from various authorities to facilitate business continuity and mitigate external challenges
– Organize effective engagements and dialogues with key stakeholders on issues affecting the business environment, regulatory context, technological advancement, and industry position
– Share findings of international best practices, trends, and recent developments with the Banglalink Leadership team in order to facilitate policy advocacy in different forums
– Assist Director, Government, and Stakeholder Relations to propagate ideas and concepts with industry partners and stakeholders with both short and long-term impact and recommend ways forward to create a win-win solution and protect industry position to support growth.
Academic Qualification
– Bachelor of Business Administration/ Bachelor of Science with a concentration in EEE, CSE, or Civil Engineering or equivalent degree from a UGC-approved university.
– Candidates with legal backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
– A master’s in Business Administration or other disciplines will be an added advantage.
Job Experience Required
– Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience.
– Experience in Managerial/ specialized roles in Telecom, FMCG or other industry will be an added advantage.
Required Capabilities
– Strong business communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of regulatory policies and guidelines
– Advanced knowledge of governments policies, 5-year development plan, and revenue planning
– Knowledge of the value chain of Telecommunication business
– Understanding of socioeconomic changes
– Extensive knowledge of global best practices, technology evolution, and ITU & GSMA studies, advocacy and developments.
