Salary level:

• $ 62,556.00 – $ 80,721.00

Salary is commensurate with experience and position.

Duties: Candidates must:

• Adhere to rigorous standards of conduct.
• Undergo rigorous background investigations, credit checks and polygraphs to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) Authorization.
• Pass a Physical Fitness Test (PFT); must be physically fit to complete training at the Academyof the FBI in Quantico, Virginia and maintain a high level of fitness throughout your career.
• Pass a medical exam, which includes, but is not limited to, visual and hearing standard meeting .
• Successfully complete approximately 19 weeks of work as a Special Agent trainee, while residing at the FBI Academy at Quantico.
• After graduating from the FBI Academy, be available for relocation to any of the FBI’s 56 offices, including San Juan, Puerto Rico, or remote resident agencies (satellite offices) to meet the FBI’s needs. Special agents rarely return to their processing office. Applicants must ensure that their families are prepared for and support this transfer.
• Throughout your career, be available for temporary positions anywhere in the world, on a temporary or long-term basis.
• Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, which may include irregular hours, and be on call 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
• Be available and able to participate in arrests, carry out search warrants, searches and similar assignments.

Additionally, all Special Agent candidates must successfully complete the Special Agent Selection System (SASS), a mentally and physically demanding process designed to find only the most capable candidates. The selection process typically takes a year or more to complete.

Key Requirements: Applicants must:

Education:

• Applicants must have a diplomadegree or above (preferably in Accounting or a related field, such as Business Administration, Finance or Forensic Accounting).
