Work Summary

Prepares and maintains general and subsidiary ledgers, financial records; prepares financial statements and reports for assigned companies; analyzes and interprets accounting records.

Essential job functions

• Reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts. Identifies adjustments, corrective actions and prepares documentation to support reconciliation.
• Prepares and analyzes financial statements, various reports and financial records for assigned books of businesses or companies.
• Prepares, processes and validates recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries (journals/payments).
• Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers and records for assigned companies.
• Prepares reports and statements for various states and regulatory filings for designated companies.
• Performs other roles as designated.
• Promotes safety at all times and adheres to safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant published company manuals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or mandatory equivalent.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Ideal candidate will have Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
• Bootstrapping and learning quickly.
• Team participant and effective contributor.
• Meticulous with a relentless attention to detail.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a curious mind.
• Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Actions

• The functions required at work are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying a maximum of ten pounds, seeing, talking and listening.
