Doltone House Group is currently seeking a client orientated Event Sales Manager (Corporate), who has a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for one of Australia’s leading 5-star hospitality brands.
The primary focus is to convert enquiries and developing new opportunities through business development for events in the corporate market.
Your responsibilities:
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients to help them in their venue and catering journey
- Acquiring new business along with maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing clients for inhouse events
- Facilitating venue inspections with clients
- Meeting and entertaining clients at their premises or our locations and attending network events
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely in our CRM system
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in a similar role
- Experience within the hospitality/hotel/events or catering industry is essential and experience in corporate or large-scale event sales in a client facing role would be highly regarded
- Experience of working with budgets, client proposals and contracts
- You will be able to demonstrate solid sales experience with a record of achieving targets
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain rapport
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Own vehicle with full driver’s license where offsite appointments are required outside City/CBD
