Job Description:

Eurofins Transplant Genomics is looking for a Level 1 Customer Service Specialist (CSS) in Fremont, California or able to work remote form. This CSS will possess exceptional customer service skills and excel at building trusting relationships with clients and colleagues. Candidates must demonstrate excellent telephone and email etiquette, project a pleasant tone regardless of the nature of client correspondence, and show empathy towards our clients.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Handling incoming/outgoing daily inquiries by phone and email with excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency and follow-up. via
  • Enter sample data into Eurofins labware management systemin a timely and accurate manner
  • Solve problems by engaging other company resources as appropriate, such as providing lab test results, coordinating test tracking, and clarifying test results
  • Document customer interactions and account needs in CRM database
  • Assess customer and patient satisfaction by entering customer concerns and complaints into CRM; work with laboratory management to assist with resolution
  • Maintain a clean and accurate record system; maintain accurate records of work performed on a daily basis or as needed for regulatory or quality control testing
  • Communicate issues encountered with sample handling to the appropriate internal resource as needed
  • Notify patients about the need for sample collection; Obtain additional patient and physician information
  • Work with the mobile phlebotomy team to coordinate and support patient blood draws and ensure proper data collection
  • Assist with shipment inventory of supplies to individual clients/medical facilities
  • HIPAA compliance: ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; An associate’s degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of client-facing administrative experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both with external clients and with internal staff
  • Work experience in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, above average administrative skills and computer skills
  • High level of organization, good documentation skills and attention to detail
  • A results- and goal-oriented attitude, integrity, a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; flexible and rapidly adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to function independently and work collaboratively to identify solutions
  • A basic understanding of transplant medicine or a desire to learn on the job
  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment
  • Experience in a medical environment and with medical terminology, and/or transcription preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred ( Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage, but not required

Additional information:

The position is Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. m. at 6:00 p.m. m. (with an occasional Saturday as needed). Candidates can work remotely, with the expectation of traveling to Fremont, CA for onboarding and required training.
