Emeritus is hiring an account executive for corporate sales in the US and Canada. You will be responsible for building and expanding emeritus relationships with government leaders at the federal, state and local levels. As one of the first members of this rapidly growing organization, youhas the opportunity to play a key role in helping to test, measure and refine many elements of the go-to-market strategy in delivering customer value service.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for building and expanding the Emeritus client portfolio, developing relationships with senior leaders in federal, state and local governments
- Partner with public sector stakeholders to understand user needs, articulate the value proposition, and package our offering to support the company’s strategic objectives
- Partner with stakeholders internal stakeholders to market investments that make it easier for companies to improve the lives of their employees by providing education from the world’s best institutions
Requirements
- Proven success in sales to the public sector, preferably within EdTech or alternatively information services and/or services professionals
- Sales experience in one of the following areas: Defense/National Security; or US Federal Civilian; or US state and local government
- Experience in identifying and responding to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) issued by the government
- Knowledge of government contracting, trends in Current acquisition and buying behaviors
- Have a growth mindset and the ability to scale a fledgling business. You think and act like an entrepreneur and like to build things. You are highly tactical and a strategic thinker
- Have intellect, courage, presenceexecutive and business acumen
- Leverage Team Selling and a Culture of Continuous Learning
- Can quickly understand and articulate customer value propositions across the B2G and student landscape.
- Have an exceptional track record and 3 years of experience selling learning solutions or other professional services. Experience in educational solutions is a plus but not a must
- Experience in influencing executive level decisions and sales relationships
