Warehouse clerk job description

Receives the goods and registers them in the system. Prepare goods and products for shipment and register them in the system. Maintains accurate records of all transactions.

Responsibility of the warehouse employee

• Receives materials and supplies in the warehouse.
• Visually inspects for damage or deficiencies before entering the inventory or storage area.
• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and production area.
• Strips and rewinds the thread to suitcustomer specific requirements.
• Use the inventory control system to track the status of goods and materials.
• Prepare products and goods for shipment. Ensure proper packaging to avoid damage. Prepare associated documentation, including shipping labels, invoice, and instructions.
• Use the inventory control system to track the status of goods and materials.
• Others warehouse tasks as needed

Warehouse clerk qualifications

• Completion of high school and vocational school or six months of related experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience.
• Accuracy and attention demonstrated in detail .
• Physical ability to receive and store goods and materials, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use computer systems to track goods and materials.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally effectively.
