Join the Food & Beverage team of Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, as a server!
Breaking News! The Desert Mountain Club is moving from a gratuity-based pay structure to a higher fixed dollar pay structure for all hourly Food & Beverage positions. Our servers will start at $ 22 per hour or more depending on the experience. This is a guaranteed year-round wage, based on hours worked, with no wage fluctuations due to company levels or seasonality. You will also have the opportunity to advance in pay and position based on merit and performance through annual merit increases and career ladder (various levels in each position based on performance, skills and knowledge e.g. Server 1, Server 2, etc.)
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a memorable experience to guests by providing exceptional service and curating the dining experience. This includes maintaining a strong knowledge and understanding of menu items and pairings and adapting the food and drink experience to their tastes, running the service from greeting at the table to providing the bill, all in an environment of team.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. Previous service experience in a full service restaurant is required. Previous experience in a high-end club or resort preferred.

_ WORK DETAILS Responsibility:
- Present menus, suggest dishes using suggestive sales techniques, and assist in the selection and service of beverages.
- Communicate specific customer preferences, dietary restrictions and changes to the culinary team .
- Maintain knowledge of all items on the food and drink menu to include cocktails, beer and wine.
- Maintain a top-notch dining experience with the mindset that we are family serving the family.
- Uses name recognition and personalized service to keep fans raving.
- Practicein three stages of service: a warm welcome, cordial service and a warm farewell.
- Communicate and answer questions regarding restaurant and club events, throughout the mountain, in a professional and courteous manner. Direct answers, questions and comments to the appropriate manager or department.
- Maintain clean, professional-looking service areas of all clubhouse facilities.
- Proactively assist other team members and server colleagues, if necessary.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
Physical requirements and working conditions:
- Required for standing for long periods of time.
- Required for working days, nights, weekends and holidays.
