The Division

IDS (a Constellation Software company) is the market leader enterprise solution for Marine & RV Dealers across North America. This role is to be filled at our parent company’s resource center; Contour Software – Karachi Office.

The Position

The division is looking for a Deployment Specialist who will use automation tooling to ensure that IDS software is deployed and configured correctly within their hosting solution. This role presents an ideal opportunity for an inventive and driven Deployment professional who is eager to learn and grow. Working in the IDS Cloud Services & Delivery team this role will see the successful candidate transforming manual activities into fully automated solutions using industry leading software. If you have an eye for the details and are driven to produce precise solutions, this is the role for you. The selected candidate shall work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore IT team.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Window’s server administration (2012 / 2016 / 2019)
• Experience working in a VMware virtualized environment (vCenter, vCloud Director)
• Solid understanding of networking and network topology
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and ADFS.
• Good working knowledge of database technology (MS SQL, Postgres)
• Experience using Ansible or comparable automation tooling. Experience with Jenkins is a huge asset.
• Experience creating and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, YAML, etc).
• Experience working in an ITIL based ticket management systems (Jira preferred).
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
