Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Supervise the daily operations in the department; ensure the smooth purchase process in an efficient and effective way in order to meet the department needs and maintain sufficient stock in the warehouse.
  2. Coordinate, supervise and evaluate all purchasing activities of subordinates.
  3. Ensure the high performance of the team and the overall department activities in order to achieve the mission and vision of the company.
  4. Assist the purchasing manager in the decision-making such as requesting quotations and choosing the best supplier.
  5. Establish and maintain high standards of relationships with suppliers for the most cost-effectiveness and favorable services.
  6. Review the stock quantities in the factory, receive purchase requisitions, consolidate the similar items, segregate according to suppliers, approve the prices from finance, process requisitions into approved purchase orders, and approve it from purchase manager in compliance with established policies and ensure opening the (L/C).
  7. Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  8. To ensure that received goods are to specification in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery and to advise on those suppliers who fail to meet specifications.
  9. Work with Accounts Payable in resolving invoice and payment issues.
  10. Work with other departments to standardize supplies and equipment to cost savings.
  11. Prepare financial information and conduct reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies with regard to local and foreign purchases
  12. Performs related job duties as required.


Required Educational Level:

      · bachelor degree in business administration

Required Experience:

      · Three to Six years of experience.
