Purpose:
- The jobholder will be responsible for overall effective and efficient administration, assessment, and settlement of Non-Motor claims in accordance with the professional claims’ management procedures and customer excellence standards.
Accountabilities:
- Registration of claims, processing and settling claims up to the delegated authority, liaise and follow up with loss adjusters for status/ discuss claims technically .
- Interaction with Internal and external parties
- Internal Coordination with UW team , Reinsurance department to update and seek concurrence in claims , process and settle service providers fees, coordinate with legal department for reporting legal claims and seeking status of the claims, coordinate with Finance for status of claims settled , pursue recovery action , prepare and maintain claim reports. Handle and manage complaints/ customer issues. Attend meetings as required.
- Scrutinize claims beyond the financial authority and put up note for approval from competent authority
- External interaction with Brokers, direct customers, loss adjusters, experts, lawyers , site visit as may be required, recovery agents , salvage buyers
- Process Inward Engineering claims and liaise with cedants
- Periodic review and reporting of the claim files
- Translation of Arabic documents and speak to Arabic customers
