Under the direction and guidance of the Management Team, your day is dedicated to meeting and exceeding daily sales targets, becoming an expert in our products, answering customer queries and keeping the sales floor clean and ready to shop. .

What will you do

• Demonstrate and model sales, customer service, merchandising and teamwork skills.
• Support the management team in leading, training and promoting teamwork during floor sales and inventory.
• Ensure complete understanding of all products and have an ongoing knowledge of the latest information available.
• Stay aware of current advertising, promotions and catalogs, as well as the status of merchandise.
• Model the company’s standards in customer service by providing graceful, fast and efficient service with a sense of fun for all our customers.
• Maintain floor covering; follow published schedules for counter tasks.
• Focus on sales promotion and meeting sales targets.
• Demonstrate creative sales problem solving skills to focus on solutions.
• Foster a strong sense of teamwork at worktogether effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
• Model and enforce your company’s standards of customer service.
• Actively engage customers and remain aware of customer needs.
• Assisting customers with merchandising selections and providing courteous and efficient service.

What will you bring

• Preferred customer service experience; preferred retail experience
• Good reading and writing skills (English), good communication skills, basic arithmetic and interpersonal skills
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds ; heavier product with team assistance
• Must be able to work a weekend day
